Photographer and artist Michael Wesely (*1963, DE) is known for his extremely long exposure times that, depending on the duration of the subject’s content, can last for days, months or years. With the image _Humboldt-Forum, Berlin_, he shows the intermediate results of an, for the first time digital, exposure of the reconstruction of the Berlin City Palace, which he started in January 2014. Thereby he is not only documenting a part of local history of the German capital, but also connects the flowing processes of the past, present and future in one image.
