As part of the exchange project _Collaboration_ eight artists living in Munich went on several research trips to Mostar and Belgrade. On the _Partisan Memorial Cemetery_ in Mostar they discovered a monument to the fallen partisans of World War II. The architect of the monument, built in 1965, the humanist, writer and architect Bogdan Bogdanović, fought himself for the partisans. He later provoked the discontent of the increasingly nationalist state leadership and was nevertheless shortly mayor of Belgrade before he went into exile in 1993. The memorial built by him was destroyed during the war in Yugoslavia and set up as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina back in 2005. Today the place is deserted and overgrown with plants of all kinds. In their card game _Memories_ the artist group documents the vegetation at the monument and shows how grass is proverbially growing over the traces of history.
