Straight Flush

Adolescence, physicality and moments of transition are central motifs in the works of Anne Morgenstern (*1976, Germany). For her conceptual work Straight Flush, created as part of the research project Migration Design ZHdK Zurich, the photographer accompanied for six months a group of young people with an immigrant background. In her portraits she explores questions of conditioning, individuality and belonging and documents the leisure and group behavior of adolescents.
