End of the year, festival digested, tour schedule baked and moreover a Croatian Fotodoks photographer from New York, who’s finally coming to Munich: more than enough reasons for a loud get-together during the quiet time – with artist talk, final books-gift-inspirations for your loved ones or yourself, cookies, mulled wine ban and friendly people.
Our guest is Hrvoje Slovenc, who lives in New York since 2002 and from there enthuses critically and analytically about his homeland. In a non-narrative and open approach, which he chooses to call 'post-documentary,' he combines images and stories, facts and fiction and creates an associative portrait of his newfound Croatia. His work Croatian Rhapsody is on show until 10. JAN 2016 in the PAST IS NOW group exhibition at Münchner Stadtmuseum.
Come along – we’re looking forward to see you!
