**Laurence Rasti** (*1990) studied photography at ECAL. In her photographs she explores the concepts of identity and beauty. Based on her dual cultural background (Iranian parents), she views Swiss and Iranian cultural codes and conventions in a new light with a view to understanding the sway of gender roles in society.

**Gürsoy Doğtaş** (*1975) lives and works in Munich. He studied art history, philosophy and psychology at the University of Hamburg and fine arts at the HfbK in Hamburg. Since 2005 he has published Artistzine Matt Magazine.
